EQ1200: Equine CranioSacral Therapy I
This course is taught by the very popular international instructor Gail Wetzler. The workshop is designed to teach participants the anatomy and physiology of the craniosacral system and its relationship to health and disease in people and animals. Class work is divided between lectures, demonstrations and loads of hands-on practice.

By the end of the course, participants will be able to localize and facilitate the correction of significant restrictions and imbalances in the craniosacral system as it pertains to people and animals.

Please note: Completion of this course will not qualify you to advertise yourself as an equine body worker unless you hold other certifications in the equine field, (as in Equine Body Worker, Equine Sports Massage Therapist, Master Equine Body Worker, etc.).

Prerequisite: Those individuals who have not had any craniosacral study must first complete the 2 day Upledger Introduction to CranioSacral Therapy. Click here to find a course near you.

This intro course if offered world wide and quite often enabling you to fit it into your schedule. By doing the intro course first or similar, we can spend most of our time on the horses!

EQ1210: Equine CranioSacral Therapy II
Gail will guide the participants through review and discussion expanding upon what was previously shown in the EQ1200 Equine CranioSacral Therapy I. Students will cover subjects such as conformation as well as exploring the cranial facial bone in greater detail. There will be loads of problem solving with various labs and lots of discussion. Each participant will be required to bring with them to class one case study using Equine CranioSacral Therapy. The case study will require all documentation including initial exam, sessions completed and outcome. Photographs and video, if available, are strongly encouraged. Gail will direct class discussion over each case study. Don’t worry! You can use one of the horses you used for the EQ 1200 Equine CranioSacral Therapy I externship.

On the last day, Gail will give a demonstration to show the benefits of using CST on a horse and rider. Take advantage and experience watching a master at work. Gail will give an evaluation of the horse and rider prior to performing a full session on both using all of the techniques in EQ 1200 ECST I and EQ 1210 ECST II followed by another evaluation. Participants will be able to experience first hand how this modality benefits man and beast not only separately but as a team and they will discuss what was exhibited in the demonstration. (This demonstration is for class use only as a means to make evident the connection between horse and rider. It is not an indication that this would be permitted for use by individuals attending this course unless those individuals already have in place the necessary credentials. To practice on humans, it will require specific qualifications not associated with Equinology.)

Please note: Completion of this course and externship involved does not qualify you to advertise yourself as an equine body worker unless you hold other certificates in the equine field as in Equine Body Worker, Advanced Equine Body Worker or Equine Sports Massage Therapist or other like certification titles.

Prerequisite: Must have completed EQ 1200: Equine CranioSacral Therapy I prior to attending this course. May be done the same year if desired. Horse handling and safety skills are always a must.
